01How numbering works
- 01Pick a document category to narrow the document type list, then choose the type.
- 02Set the document date and the number of copies you need. The period is taken from that date.
- 03Generate. Every row is assigned the next free number from the pool and marked as taken immediately.
Numbers are never generated at random. Each number already exists in the stock pool as a single document that can only be assigned once, so two people can never receive the same number for the same category and period. Use the stock matrix before generating to see how many free numbers are left.
02Number format reference
A document number is a compound string. Using 06153/UM.000/TA-851040/03-2025 as the example:

The document type you selected is attached to the assigned number, which is why the results list shows the type next to each number.

Admins can add further categories from the import tab; they appear in the generator without a redeploy.

The daily limit is tracked per visitor when you are signed out and per account when you are signed in, and it resets automatically. Reaching the limit only pauses the generator for the rest of the day; nothing is lost from the stock pool.
04Frequently asked questions
- What does the Number Generator do?
- It hands out the next free document number from a pre-loaded pool for the category, period and project value group you pick, so every number is issued exactly once.
- Do I need an account to use it?
- No. The generator works without signing in and is limited per visitor per day. Signing in keeps your personal history for the day and unlocks the admin injector for authorised admins.
- How many numbers can I take at once?
- Up to 20 numbers per request row and up to 100 numbers in one submission, with a daily limit of 15 numbers per visitor.
- Why did a row come back marked as failed?
- A failed row means the pool has no free number left for that category and period, or your daily quota has run out. Check the stock matrix before generating to see what is available.
- Is the number stock shared with the office?
- Yes. The generator draws from the same stock pool the office uses and marks each number as taken the moment it is issued, so numbers are never handed out twice.
- When does the daily quota reset?
- The quota resets at 00:00 Asia/Jakarta time. Nothing needs to be reset manually.
